Please use this form to submit comments to the DRBC on the draft docket for an application to renew the approval of an existing export of up to 35.65 million gallons per month (mgm) (1.15 million gallons per day (mgd)) of water from the Delaware River Basin (DRB) to the Chesapeake Bay Basin (CBB) and a withdrawal of groundwater of up to 43.2 mgm from existing Wells 1, 1A and 2R which are located in the DRB to supply potable water to the docket holder’s public water supply distribution system. The Town of Georgetown’s existing groundwater withdrawals are approved by DNREC and will continue to be regulated in accordance with the Administrative Agreement (AA) between DRBC and the State of Delaware, Section IV.C.4, enacted on July 2010 and modified on May 8, 2013.
The project wells located in the DRB are completed in the Columbia aquifer (Wells 1 and 2R) and the Manokin Formation (Well 1A) and are located in the Broadkill River Watershed in the Town of Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware
